Google Nexus 7 problems

The first of the Google Nexus 7 problems is the home screen doesn't rotate to landscape mode.  This isn't really a big deal or a big problem but it is a bit strange that Google didn't want this feature even though it is present on virtually every tablet in existence.  Whenever you rotate a tablet or smartphone to landscape the contents generally go with it.  The nexus 7 tab does this but not when you are on the home screen.

Solution:  If you really consider this a problem or a big deal you can easily fix it by finding an app on the play store that will rotate the home screen to landscape.  This app is called ultimate rotation control.

Loose screen: Nexus 7 tablet users have been complaining about loose screens.  You have a loose screen if there is light coming from the edges or they move when they are touched.
Solution: Contact Google customer support

Phantom typing:  A phantom typing is a rare Google nexus 7 problem and is caused by an uneven screen.  Basically it will type or touch by itself.
Solution: To get this nexus 7 problem fixed you will need to contact Google customer support.

Charging problems: Another problem with the Google Nexus 7 is charging.  Sometimes charging may not be possible using the micro usb support supplied with it.  Thankfully this is an easy solution.
Solution: The problem is the micro usb port or the cable.  Try a friends micro usb cable that you know works if it doesn't you will need a new port so contact Google.

Dead Pixels:  Another one of rare Google Nexus 7 Problems is dead pixels.  Dead pixels are not exclusive to this device and are found on any LCD device.  They may be hard to spot at first but the only solution is to get onto Google Support.

The above list are the main Google Nexus 7 problems that users have reported.  Keep in mind though that these are rare and the problems occur because of manufacturing glitches which will only affect a few batches.

Hopefully you have enjoyed this article on the problems with Google Nexus 7 and know what to do if you run into them.
